I expect two more persons to complete our team for this RR.

I am new to this forum and would like to have more detail of what would be involved in taking part in a round robin. I understand that a few people are working on the same patterns but I would like more details.

Hi Clare,
The first thing you have to do to start a round robin is to find a team: 5 to 8 participants is a good number. Then everyone divide one's fabric in as many parts as the number of participants and stitch her own part. It's possible to work together on a single pattern or to work with different patterns relating to a choosen theme. The fabrics are mailed out each 4 to 8 weeks to the following participant on the list. At the end, you get back your own fabric on wich everybody has stitched something.

That was helpful. I am going to put on hold any commitment to a round robin until I am settled in the States. I have so much to organise at the moment with immigration and my wedding.

I will be looking around for something to get involved in early next year. I will have loads of spare time for a few months while I am waiting for my US work permit to come through.
