how do you do the loop

im having problems with the loop start can someone please explane this methord to me it would be such a great help

take one strand and fold it. Put the two ends thru the eye of the needle. Push needle thru hole in fabric as if starting a normal cross stitch but leave the 'loop' on the underside or 'wrong side'. Put needle down thru hole in fabric to make the first half of the cross. Turn fabric over and put needle thru the loop at the back........turn fabric over so right side is facing and continue with your half cross-stitches in the normal way. Good luck. You will soon learn to judge how long a thread to cut so as not to waste too much.
