I have been cross stitching for about 10 years on and off but a lot more in recent years.

I hate french knots and 1/4 stitches and only recently braved them lol:-)

I have been stitching for years. Mainly cross stitch and embroidery. Also crochet, knit, reading and the pc.

I don't like quarter stitches at all. Usually look for a pattern without fraction stitches. French knots are ok. But my brother who also does cross stitch won't try French knots. He uses little beads to match whatever cotton he is using. He did a picture with little mice around the edge. All the eyes were in black beads. Looks very effective.
