Found the site via a cross stitch magazine.

Been interested in cross stitch for years but only just recently getting enthusiatic about it in the past few months. I've been married for nearly 6 yrs and drive my husband mad with the amount of knitting and cross stitch that I do. I live in Darlington, Co. Durham and am keen to hear from anyone.

Hi Julia,

I think that my stitching has progressed from being a hobby (creating pictures & cards for friends and family), into an addiction! Start to feel guilty when I don't do a bit each day! More like satisfying a craving!! I think I have the most understanding husband in the world - he is soooooo patient, and even turned our spare bedroom into a craft studio!

I too am from Darlington, although I don't live there now - still got all my family up there though! Can't wait to pop up and see them at the weekend - also going home for Christmas!
