It does seem very friendly which I'm pleased about. First time I've joined a forum. How long have you been stitching for? I've just really got back to cross stitch again after a few years off and thoroughly enjoying it.

not that long mainly cover kits and cards
I have a winnie pooh bathtime (big project) half done got a bit bored with it so i'll go back to it eventually.
Stitching bang on the door wedding sampler quite enjoying that for now.
I have just been given a sewing machine so i am trying my hand at that.
Need a dress makers dummy tho.
Tell me a bit about urselve and i'll give u my email address and we can email each other. Thats if u wnat 2.

It sounds like a good idea to e-mail each other, I'll put my e-mail address at the end.

I'm 35 yrs old, married to a computer nerd (well, he works for a computer company in Newcastle dealing with virus removal), no children and live in Darlington, County Durham. I work for a local government office in Northallerton and don't seem to have as much time as I'd like to stitch/knit etc. I'm currently knitting baby clothes for a colleague at work and am currently stitching a Janlynn kit titled The Castle which I start about 2-3 years ago and still slowly working my way through it.

Shopping went well but was too hot.
