I cannot get on with using a thimble and I am fed up with having a sore finger. I seem to remember reading of something like a plaster you stick on instead. Does anyone know of any such product? I should be grateful for any help.

Sorry, it's not something I've come across. Does anyone have any ideas to help Tats?

hi Tat, I recently saw in a local craftstore, Michaels, a box of finger protectors. They look like either rubber fingercots or a thin plastic, I did not investigate thoroughly as I do not like things on my fingers. But I thought I'd pass on the info and hope you can locate them.

Hi Tat,

I have seen something here in the States, someone else mentioned seeing it at Michael's, send me your address and I will mail it to you. See if it works. If it does then you can look for it there. I will gladly mail it if you send an address
